Why Oxford collects the information
Oxford collects personal information of candidates to assist our consultants in the recruitment process. This allows our consultants to be able to achieve the best possible outcome for both the candidate and client. The collection of information allows us to provide both candidates and clients with the most accurate information possible.


How Oxford collects information
Oxford collects information by the following methods:

From the candidate personally, either by direct communication, email or phone, or from resumes and documents supplied by candidates
From referees supplied by candidates, either by direct communication or via email
From clients who Oxford supplies services to
From publicly accessible information like the internet


Who is the information disclosed to
Information will be disclosed to clients to assist Oxford in the business of permanent and contract recruitment services. Information may also be disclosed to government bodies or governing authorities if required by law. Information may also be disclosed to financial institutions or superannuation funds in regards to payment of salary, wages or benefits.


How information is stored and secured
Personal information is stored either in hardcopy or electronically. This information is only available to staff at Oxford Recruitment so that they can perform their employee duties. All reasonable efforts are made in the securing of personal information.


Accessing and correcting your information
Candidates have the right and opportunity to access their personal information at Oxford Recruitment, subject to some exclusions allowed by law. They also have the right to request the removal and return of their personal information from Oxford Recruitment.


Your rights as a candidate
Oxford does not a charge a fee to candidates for supplying them the opportunity to
take part in our recruitment process. Oxford does not and will not engage in misleading or deceptive conduct during the recruitment process. If you believe that Oxford has acted inappropriately you may contact the Department of Fair Trading.
